Loving God. Loving People.
Adult MinistryCome As You Are
We are a church that loves to connect with people. We welcome you to join us! There are no perfect people here–only a perfect Savior who is transforming us daily.
During any given Sunday morning worship service, you can expect a blend of contemporary and traditional music, as well as preaching that is engaging, challenging, and encouraging. Dress is casual and the coffee is always on.
Sunday morning services start at 10:00am during the summer months. There is a nursery for babies and young toddlers, as well as a PreSchool program, allowing parents of young children to enjoy the service. Read more about our children’s programs…
Tuesday night services start at 6:30pm with a primary focus on prayer. If you want to experience God and share deep connection with other adults, this is a great opportunity.
There are numerous other ministry opportunities for adults throughout the year, including Life Groups, Women’s Bible Study, and annual events.
Women’s Bible Study
Women of all ages come together to enjoy coffee, Bible-based lessons, and practical tips. The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, September through May, from 9:30-11:00am. Child care is provided for children ages 6 months through preschool for a minimal fee. Drop us an email if you’d like more information.
Blessing of the Bikes
Bethel Assembly hosts “Blessing of the Bikes,” an event for bikers, the second Sunday of June each year. The event typically starts with a Sunday morning service designed for bikers, followed by a barbecue rib dinner and a scenic ride. A prayer of blessing is offered for each bike and biker. Through the generous contributions of participants and sponsors, we have been able to contribute close to $60,000 to Feed My Starving Children, an organization that feeds starving kids in countries around the world.

Pastor Seth Johnson
Lead Pastor
Seth Johnson, grew up north of McIntosh, MN, attended Bethel Assembly from 1988-2002, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2006, and taught abroad in Kuwait and Indonesia from 2007-2012 before coming home to Bethel. Having grown up in the area, he feels a special kinship with, and burden for, the people of this place. He loves lefse, poetry, his family, folk music and Jesus… not necessarily in that order. He also thoroughly enjoys small town living, the drop-in mindset, real conversations, real books and the rural beauty of the farmland of northern Minnesota.
